Belfield Consulting and Training is a team of Six Sigma Black Belts with many years of experience in solving quality problems.We provide Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt on-site training for organizations interested in developing these valuable skills.
Our emphasis is on the application of statistical techniques in problem solving. The enormous cost impact of problems in manufacturing warrants a new approach to finding solutions. Our methods are sound, statistically based and highly successful. Our business is industrial problem solving and we are continually developing our work in this field.
Principals
Chris Butterworth is Director of Programs at Belfield, specializing in statistical methods training and problem solving for manufacturers. He has over 20 years experience in manufacturing where he has focused on problem solving and process performance improvement. In various roles from Statistical Quality Leader to Six Sigma Manager, he has been successful in solving elusive, chronic problems that had been plaguing companies and reducing their profits. Chris has trained hundreds of people in the Six Sigma body of knowledge.
Chris is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds other professional certifications in Quality Management. He teaches the Design of Experiments course at British Columbia Institute of Technology and has been a speaker on the topic of Six Sigma at a number of events in Canada.
Michael Hainke is a partner in Belfield Consulting and Training. He is a Mechanical Engineer with over 7 years industry experience with several large manufacturing organizations in diverse fields. Michael has experience in mechanical design as a design engineer, utilizing Design For Six Sigma tools, as well on the manufacturing side as a process engineer. Michael brings with him strong technical knowledge as well as the experience, tools, and analytical skills to help solve a variety of manufacturing problems.
Michael is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a graduate of UBC in Mechanical Engineering.
